I specialise in romance (all spice levels, and none), crime, historical fiction and women’s literature. If your book falls outside of these genres, you can still contact me to discuss it, but the genres I don’t accept are: non-fiction, horror, science-fiction, fantasy, young adult or children’s books.

Yes. If you contact me about your requirements, I can provide a free sample edit of up to 1,000 words. This offer is limited to one sample edit per customer, not per manuscript.

There isn’t a definitive answer to this, I’m afraid. It depends on the length of your novel, the amount of work required, and when I can start.

It’s possible, although there is an extra charge for a fast turnaround. It also depends how booked up I am at the time. Contact me to discuss your requirements.

My fees are set out on each of my Services pages.

For editorial, proofreading and manuscript critiques, when we agree a commencement date, I will require a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the fee to hold that date in my diary.

For book blurbs and interior formatting, no deposit is required.

Not as such, but my payments are automatically spaced out anyway. For editorial, proofreading, and manuscript critiques, a non-refundable deposit of 30% is required to hold the booking in my diary. Then a further 30% is required upon commencement, with the final 40% to be paid when the job is complete. You will be invoiced at each stage.

For book blurbs and interior formatting, you will be invoiced upon completion.
